~The presequel into preparing "A Jar Of Cookies" for nicholas birthday gift~

Two days ago~ which was saturday.. (omg time flies) Our clan gathered together to celebrate nicholas' birthday~ which was actually "TODAY" but well.. we celebrated in advance knowing the fact that his birthday falls on a school day =.= anyway.. you wanna see the full story about it you can view nicholas' blog~ ^^

Well anyway..i just wanna say about my experience in helping to prepare cookies for his birthday..

~A week before the celebration~I went to mindy's house to err..learn how to bake? Honestly..I did not even have the slightest idea on how to bake a cookie or muffin =.=.. First we baked muffins~ and it turns out that Mindy's muffins were burnt..and mine turned out alright! ^^ so she dumped her muffins and ate mine~ altogether she only ate two..and I had to force myself to eat the remaining four =.= and after that we called it a day~

The next day we baked cookies~ Mindy made strawberry jam cookies while I made chocolate cookies. It turns out that her cookies were perfectly good, mine turned out perfectly horrible =.= and I actually twisted my shoulder while making the dough for the cookies~ (hands got too oily and slipped when I supported myself up..-.- OUCH!!)And later on Mindy's dog Yoyo sneaked in and ate a whole lot of butter O_O and of course got a BIG scolding by you know..(who else..?) Anyway.. As I left mindy's house and went for church, I have my father to try our cookies~ My father liked her cookies...and almost got choked when he ate mine =.=

~A day before the celebration~ Mindy and I decided to meet up at tpy central to buy somemore ingredients to bake more cookies~ We intended to meet at like 7 plus? But the bus trip to tpy for me was like one hour -.- so we arrived there at 8. It was late.. but Mindy got hungry =.= so we ate at sakae sushi. And it's the first time I saw Mindy got KOed so fast! XD I guess I've made the right choice by asking her to buy a set instead of just eating sushi ^^ After dinner, we went to NTUC to buy STUFF for the cookies~ And we went looking everywhere for a suitable jar to put the cookies in but with no avail =.= A short while later, the NTUC closed. And it's already very late..So we were like thinking "how? if cannot find a jar then no choice lor...put in a plain plastic container lor..." And as we're walking we fortunately came across a shop and bought a what seem to be a "plastic container with little design" =.= anyway we had no choice.. it was our ONLY hope of finding something suitable in the last minute =p *Opps~*

After reaching Mindy's place we rested for what it seemed like 10 minutes and went on to the baking process~ (lazy to explain in detail liao) anyway.. a few cookies got burnt, and we ate some of it =X and we slacked alot when coming to the end*Opps again*.. but managed to have enough to fill up the jar..uh i mean "plastic container with little design".. The whole process lasted from 10.45pm - 4.30am and after helping Mindy to arrange her school stuff..it's like 6.30am before we went to bed=.= We got to be at sl's house in the early afternoon the next day..and i was thinking "How is Mindy going to wake up early tomorrow?" (I can..she can't) She told me to wake her up at 10.30 in the morning.....

~The day of celebration~It's 10.30am...and what happen? as expected..Mindy coulden't wake up. No matter how much i shook her she woulden't get up! Continued shaking her up for an hour but with no avail =.= So I went to bathe first and not long after.. she woke up~ -To cut it short- We prepared and got ready then my father came and fetch us to sl's house. We also fooled nicholas into thinking that Mindy isn't coming for the celebration~ (I bet he must be sh0 sh0 disaqqoin7ed norhx..)
Anyway..upon arriving, we waited for Wai Mun to come and we head up to sl's house together..and when nic saw Mindy, I bet he became sh0 sh0 happie~ =X
Next?..Wala~ the celebration begins....
